The unburied is an undead mob from Fish's Undead Rising, in LDOH it has quite a few changes from it's normal counterpart.
It, much like an ordinary zombie can cause infection.
Despite in many ways being similar to zombies they are not classed as one in the game code and as such do not recieve buffs from nurse zombies.
They cannot break or place blocks.
Mercenaries are not aggressive towards unburied, but will still retaliate if damaged by one, allowing the unburied to get a free hit, and thus, cause infection
Drops[]
Unburied drop 0-2 rotten flesh, and 0-2 clothing fabric as well as having a 10% chance to drop fermented spider eyes and a 2.5% chance to drop a potato, carrot, or iron ingot.
Spawning[]
Unburied spawn from Tombstones and are summoned by Undertakers.
They are also part of zombie Horde Events, that occur past day 100.
Unlike their normal counterpart Unburied also spawn within the vicinity of players while in city buildings or underground. Only 15 unburied spawned this way can exist at once per player. They are more likely to spawn the more open of a cave a player is in, and the deeper they are.
Spawning Mechanics[]
To determine if an unburied can spawn by this method, every 60 ticks a random number between 0 and the player's y level is chosen, if the number is less than 18 an unburied is spawned, this only happens if neither the player or unburied's block can see the sky and the block the unburied is due to spawn on is normal stone, non-glazed terracotta or any normal full-block stone brick variant. This also maxes out at y levels below 25 with a 72% chance of spawning.
