They have the same ai and properties as their normal variants, however are always unable to build or break blocks.
Crawlers move at half the speed of their counterparts and have lower health.
Crawlers have a far smaller hitbox than other zombies allowing them to move through 1 block tall gaps.

1/15 zombies will spawn as a crawler, additionally zombies spawned in horde events will instead spawn as a crawler.
In the day 110 - 190 horde events, crawlers have another 13/62 probability to spawn.
Zombies spawned as part of generated hordes have a further 1/5 chance to be replaced with a crawler.
